These handmade ceramic tile murals depict the beauty of the Three Sisters Mountains in Central Oregon. The murals are made from stoneware clay that is rolled on a slab roller and then hand cut, carved and stamped with texture to create the beautiful mountain scenes of the Three Sisters Wilderness. The inspiration for these murals was hiking in the wilderness with my son this summer up by the headwaters of Whychus Creek in the Three Sisters Wilderness, it is such a beautiful place to explore in Oregon. When the tiles have dried and are bisc fired then they are hand glazed and fired in our large stoneware kiln to 2400 degrees, they are then mounted on a piece of plywood with a built-in hanger. These are a beautiful representation of the beautiful scenery in Central Oregon.
These Murals are only available in our Gallery in Sisters.
